What a bunch of wine o's

We had a work off-site on Thursday. We met up for lunch at Romeo's (great food) and then headed over to a neat little winery in Georgetown. We got to mix up our own "special brew" today and get to bottle it up in 8 weeks. Can't imagine how great that is going to taste.

I have lots of cute (incriminating) photos but they will have to wait as the wireless connection here is too slow to upload photos. :(

Here is a link to them if you want to check them out.

We just can't get enough....

Yep, another weekend camping! We spent three days at Inks Lake with "The Germans" again. The weather was hot but we made the best of it by staying cool in the lake and having a cold drink or too.

Allie tried to teach Vivian to swim while I took some time to relax

On Saturday Constance took Allie, Julius & Vivian to Longhorn Caverns for the day. They had a great time exploring the cave.

We are very lucky to have found such great friends that share the same interests as we do. We have a great time camping with our friends and only wish that all the "gang" could make it more often. We are so looking forward to the upcoming "float trip" with everyone in September.

End of swim season...

We celebrated the end of the summer swim season by attending the dinner / celebration the team had in our local park. We ate some great BBQ before the kids received their trophies and awards. The best part was it meant we didn't have to get up at 5 am on Saturday morning anymore!! At least not until next summer.

Coach Lynn, Allie & Coach Randy

Decorating the car before our last meet. The girls got all into it and wanted to really show our team spirit. They did a great job!

The girls had a really great season this year and both of them improved so much. I can't wait to see how fast they both are next year!

Danielle turns 2

My good friend Tammy came to town Sunday to celebrate her daughter's 2nd birhtday. We went to Chuck E Cheese with her family and a few friends. The kids had a lot of fun and I finally got a photo of Allie and Chucky! :)

Tidal Waves Win!!!

The day began very early - 4:00 AM, but was well worth it!

Both Allie & Emily swam great and helped their team win the divitional meet. This is the first time in history that the Tidal Waves have won a divitional meet.

A few cool photos from the day...

The team threw the coaches into the pool after the meet.

Ringing in the 4th...

What a better way to say "Happy Birthday" to America than by camping?? Well at least that is how we wanted to celebrate.... We loaded up the RV with good food & cold beer and headed out to Jimm Hogg for a few days. Two other families also headed out with us - Jared & Felisha and Markus & Constanze. Amanda & Emily did not get to go this time as they went to their Dad's for the weekend.

We spent the 4th relaxing in the lake, eating great food and just hanging out.

Dog even had a great time!

Oh, what studs!

Markus made an awesome brisket in his smoker for dinner.

We were under a burn ban so no fireworks or ground fires. Smores on the grill are just not the same so the guys set up a "big screen" on the side of the RV, to play the Wii and watch movies. We watched Shrek the Third and had popcorn instead of having a camp fire. We ate homemade ice cream and watched Dodge Ball on the "big screen" again the next night.

We had fun fishing even if the fish were not biting.

Hayden had the neatest "Dragon" kite. He and Allie had a blast trying to get it to fly. The key word is trying....

It was a busy yet relaxing weekend for all.
